Handmade wedding embroidery is such a thoughtful gift, that can be cherished for years to come. So many beautiful templates to choose from, be it a floral or a leafy wreath. The wreath designs are very versatile. They can be created for a new baby, christening, new home, favourite quote, life's goal, or anything else you imagine.
When it comes to lettering, the best are the ones you sketch yourself. The above initials have been hand drawn straight on the fabric, and adjusted later on. That means whatever design you start with, you can always change as you go along pending you covet the sketch or use heat erasable pen.
I have created the full alphabet of ribbon inspired letters to use for the initials, with more styles arriving in the shop soon.
I have also posted a video tutorial on how I have created the above special occasion gift, including finishing the hoop with a lovely patterned ribbon. It’s super easy to do and will look beautiful on the wall.
