Spring Flowers - Crocus Embroidery

Since my last newsletter, winter turned into spring, and I couldn't be more happy. 😊 The first two weeks of April have been sunny and beautiful. The spring flowers are popping up everywhere and the trees are now blossoming too. Spring is the perfect time to visit the English countryside, and I will be spoiling you with photos on my blog for weeks and months to come. 😊
For today's project, we are admiring the graceful crocus flower. It is one of the first flowers to bloom. The crocus symbolises rebirth, hope and new beginnings, and comes in a variety of colours, including pink, purple, yellow, lavender, orange, cream and white.
For the crocus project, I have used only a few stitches. First, I have outlined all petals with the back stitch, then I have stitched with the long and short stitch, as well as with the stem and outline stitch. I am showing it in more details in this video tutorial.
